Bass Stories

Design for debut album of Wojciech Gunia – “Bass Stories”, which was released by the Szczecin Philharmonic. On the album, in addition to the double bass the artist uses a whole spectrum of synthetic tools, such as synthesizers, samplers or broadly understood digital sound processing, which add a layer of modernity to otherwise very classical-sounding instruments. The design of the cover plays with deconstruction and blurs the boundaries between classical and modern, the artist and his instrument that becomes a subject itself.
